About Stephens Land Services
Stephens Land Services is owned and operated by Brandon S. Stephens. Mr. Stephens
previously held positions as Landman, Land Manager and Business Development Manager
for Matador Resources Company located in Dallas, TX as well as holding positions
of Landman for Kerr-McGee Rocky Mountain Corporation located in Denver, Colorado
and Bass Enterprises Production Company located in Fort Worth, Texas. He was also
employed as an independent landman working multiple areas in Oklahoma and Wyoming
during the beginning of his career. His in-house experiences includes being responsible
for numerous land related activities in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, New
Mexico, Mississippi, and throughout the Rocky Mountains as well as being involved
with numerous acquisition and divestiture packages throughout the United States.
Mr. Stephens received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University
of Oklahoma with an emphasis in Petroleum Land Management/Energy Management. He
is a Certified Professional Landman, an active member of the American Association
of Professional Landmen, Oklahoma Association of Professional Landmen, Dallas Association
of Petroleum Landmen, and a past member of the Fort Worth and Denver Professional
Landman Associations. Mr. Stephens also served on the Board of Directors for the
Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen. Brandon’s hometown is Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
